Kick off a fun day of chasing waterfalls at Lucia Falls Regional Park. This area is full of cascades, and Lucia Falls is first on that list.

The park follows the shores of the East Fork Lewis River, and it’s less known than some other falls nearby, making it the perfect place for a little solitude and some beautiful scenery.

Exploring Lucia Falls

There is a large parking lot available at the trailhead to Lucia Falls, with space for about 50 vehicles. This isn’t as popular as some of the other nearby waterfalls, but you’ll still want to arrive early to guarantee a spot.

In addition to the nature trails, the park offers a restroom, BBQ grill, and picnic tables for visitors.

There’s no swimming at Lucia Falls!

Swimming is NOT allowed anywhere in the park—the water is home to sensitive spawning grounds.

Lucia Falls Regional Park is open daily from 7:00 am to dusk.

Elevation Gain: 26 feet

Lucia Falls is the first waterfall on the Lucia Falls Road, and it’s a great place to get your feet wet for a full day of chasing waterfalls.

The trail is located just west of Moulton Falls and Yacolt Falls and is the perfect retreat for those looking for some peace and quiet amongst nature.

The stroll is quick and easy, and the best part is that you’ll likely have the trail and the falls all to yourself!

The towering trees overhead shade the path nicely, and you’ll have a blast scrambling over rocks along the way—just be aware that these can be very slippery!

Lucia Falls + More Nearby Waterfalls

Lucia Falls is the first of four waterfalls along Lucia Falls Road. Once you’re done here, you can continue east to explore Moulton Falls, Yacolt Falls, and Sunset Falls.
